Krishna Ministry now offers Bhagavad-gita classes by phone. The class is a reading from the Bhagavad-gita between an aspiring and inquisitive person and one of our devotees at the ministry. One who registers for our Gita class will read one verse and commentary, and can then ask questions at any time during the reading about this most important transcendental subject matter. Usually ten verses can be covered within an hour's time, depending on the questions by the student. The Bhagavad-gita contains the transcendental message of Lord Krishna to Arjuna which can relieve the anxieties and fears that come from being in this material world. We will be reading from the 1972 McMillan edition of the Bhagavad-gita by our spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada, who comes in the disciplic line of spiritual masters from Madhvacharya. This is the only edition we will be using. The cost of the going through the entire Bhagavad-gita (800 verses) is a $50.00 donation for the book from this web page, which includes shipping and handling. After you receive your Bhagavad-gita you can call and schedule a one hour class: once a week, twice a week or three times a week. On the day of the class one of our trained and learned devotees will call you at the time you have designated for the class. You won't have to pay for the phone call, but the classes are limited to persons in the United States, unless the student wants to call from his or her country. We can only offer the classes in English at this time. We are doing this with several people in the United States and has been very successful.
