KRISHNA RETURNS FROM TENDING THE COWS
Artist: Murlidhara Dasa
Here Lord Krishna is seen coming home after tending the cows and calves in the forest of Vrindavana. Mother Yashoda, Nanda
and the gopis felt intense separation from Krishna as He tended the cows and calves
during the day with his cowherd boyfriends in the pasturing grounds of Vraja. When Krishna would return, He would be greeted
by His mother, father, and the beautiful young gopi girls were in love with Him. Krishna
is the most handsome male. Any male in this world can only have a fraction of the beauty and charm of Krishna, because He
is the source of all beauty and charm. Lord Krishna's returning from tending the calves and cows is mentioned in the Srimad-Bhagavatam, 10th canto, 15th chapter, verses 42-45.
