Description of:   YASHODA & KRISHNA 1 Artist: Murlidhara Dasa Krishna was the life and soul of the inhabitants of Gokula. He was dearer to them than their own children. God is all attractive. Here Yashoda is holding child Krishna in this very famous pose. Yashoda and Krishna's pastimes are mentioned in the Srimad-Bhagavatam, 10th canto, chapters 6-11.
